“Direct Linking” is an old school internet business model where you buy PPC clicks and send the clicks straight to an affiliate program.
It was really popular (and REALLY profitable) from 2000 – 2006.
Since then, everyone say it doesn’t work anymore.
I’ve heard people say “You can’t do direct linking, Google won’t allow it.”
While direct linking doesn’t work as well as it once did, I’m here to say:
YES! “DIRECT LINKING” DOES STILL WORK!
I know because we do it.
Here’s proof.
I took screenshots of an adwords account and of affiliate income from the past 6 months (November – April).
Expenses:
Income:
To sum it up
– Expenses: $437.56
= Profit: 1652.56
Profit per month: $275.42
For members of ReplaceMyself.com, the business model we use is outlined in detail in the “Business-in-a-Box.” All members have access to it.
The “Business-in-a-Box” is designed to be given to a Filipino employee and have them implement it for you.
Like I’ve always said, this isn’t something that will make you rich. It’s not designed to make you $100,000,000,000.
It IS designed to help you get someone working for you quickly, with little to no intervention on your part, and hopefully have them start making money for you.
We just finished updating the “Business-in-a-Box” training so it’s current and has all the training someone needs to get started doing it today.
No, I’m not getting rich off this income.
Does direct linking still work?
YES, yes it does.
Did you get your account back active?
Most small networks will work.
Amazon will not, because Amazon has specifically prohibited people from doing PPC advertising with their affiliate program. Ebay has also done the same.
Find a small affiliate network.
Or, better yet, find a product with it's own affiliate program. One that's not part of any network.
Wonderful to read that you're having success with direct linking, but if I remember rightly you had your adwords account banned, so did you get your adwords account back? I had an account that was banned but it was for ad that I deleted in 2008 and only received the ban just a few months ago.
Yup, it's not just as simple as using another email address. Google looks at a number of factors to include IP address (I think MAC address too). So yeah, you basically need a whole new you.
You can get around it with a credit card and a little creativity using something like remoting from your hosting service or through Amazon EC2. but it's a pain and I've learned to work without Google Adwords. It was my own damn fault anyway.
Direct linking works but its so much better to get the email optin and then redirect to the offer
Please, please, begging for someone to reveal a single affiliate network that has good offers I can direct link to. Most of the networks have CPA offers with little to no useful information on the page;…which will get my google slapped silly. Please, at the end of my rope…
You made some nice points there. I did a search on the issue and found most persons will go along with with your site.
lol funny what do you think will be next
Glad I noticed this on google .
Very interesting subject , thanks for posting .
Hi,
I dont see the dates of these posts.
Is this still current?
@Stuart – no, this technique doesn't still work. Sorry.
