Where are the videos promised in your Email?
I dont think it is a great idea to ask someone- what did you do today. People will always tell you BS- oh I worked on this for 2 hours, then I did that for 3 hours bla bla bla. It is just a fact of life that people hugely overestimate the time they spend on doing something. When I asked my staff initially what did they do today they gave you lots of stuff, but actually it does not tell you what they did. It only you tells you what they tell they did. Only way to find out what they really spend their time on is to install time tracking software on their computer like Rescuetime. What I found out that people overestimate their work input not by 20-30%, but about 2-3 TIMES. Yes 2-3 TIMES. So be very sceptical, and do pay only for the time they actually work….
This is very true. Establishing a line of communication is key. Without it, you'd be lost as to what the person you hired is doing and if he/she is even doing anything.
