When I hired Joven, in 2005 (yes, 20 years ago), I had no idea he’d eventually be running OnlineJobs.ph for me.

I was just trying to get a little work done.

I didn’t know he’d be dedicated, hard working, intelligent, resourceful…

I didn’t know he’d still work for me 20 years later.

But here’s the reality of the last 20 years, starting with day 1.
– The first day, I spent 30 minutes giving him training.
– The second day I spent 5 minutes giving feedback on the poor work he did…because of my poor instructions.
– The third day I spent 5 minutes giving feedback and instructions
– The fourth day I spent 15 minutes giving feedback and instructions.
– …

I spent time.

Not a lot of time. But still my time.

Was he awesome at first? No.

Was he willing to learn and work and try?  Yes.

Did it pay off for me?
I would put the ROI at around 2000% in terms of time saved and money made.
(this ^^^ is probably pretty accurate)

Back to the initial reality…

Yes, you have to take time.

But…that’s what growing a business takes. Time.

Where are you spending your time?  Is it doing the work?
Or is it building a system with someone else doing the work?
Or is it spent transferring knowledge to someone else so they can take over your responsibilities?

I’m not the only one.

Here’s what Joseph said:

Just wanted to say, we’ve had our VA, Kerwin, for close to two years now and he has literally become a brother to me – without you, the materials you send out, and the training you provided before hand, this would’ve never been possible.

He is quite literally the best employee I’ve ever had. I’ve got him overseeing the first business I originally brought him into, and working hand in hand with me to scale up the new venture. Eventually I will give him actual equity and ownership with the goal of affording him an incredible life for him and his family.

What you and your team have done with Onlinejobs is so worth it and surely impacts businesses all around the world. I’m sure it isn’t said enough, but thank you!

Joseph
