I get messages from business owners telling me that it seems like Filipino VAs only want part-time work now, or that they’re only looking for multiple clients.

I know there are people like this. Not just Filipino VAs. There are entire sites (Upwork, Fiverr) dedicated to workers who only want to do part-time work and encourage freelancers to have multiple clients.

That isn’t what Onlinejobs.ph is about.

Sure, we allow people to hire hourly and part-time workers. Because there are business owners who can only afford part-time work. There are good Filipino workers who could use a part-time job while they’re going to school, or taking care of a sick family member, or something to supplement their full-time job.

But if you want professional, skilled, and loyal Filipino VAs, you should hire full-time. Why? Because they can’t survive on anything less.

If they’re working part-time for you, they’re working full-time somewhere else.

Diana has been working for her current employer for 8 years. Before that, she worked for an agency for 3 years. She’s legit! You’re unlikely to find that level of experience or dedication from someone who answers part-time job posts.

Professional Filipino virtual assistants value stability. Stability enables them to acquire the skills and experience necessary to excel in their roles. In exchange, they’re loyal, reliable, and dedicated to their work.

If you’re only looking for VAs who do part-time work, you can’t expect full-time commitment.

So if you can, hire someone full-time.

PS. It’s perfectly acceptable to hire part-time. I just want you to fully understand the situation.
