I’ve only had 1 “real” job in my life.

I worked for 8 months after I graduated from BYU in 2004.

The day I decided to quit I went home and told my wife (we had 1 kid and one on the way):

I have this opportunity. We have X income. We have these expenses. I have this thing I think is going to make us money. Now’s the time to try it.

Her response

Ok, but you have 6 months! If things aren’t working in 6 months you HAVE to go back and get another job.

Growing up her experience with people quitting their jobs was friends dads who never made the other thing work and they wouldn’t go get another job.

Growing up she was told “Find a man with a good education and a good stable job with good benefits.”

Yeah…that wasn’t me (except for the good education).

I’m thankful she supported me.
Things worked out.

For many OFS getting a job working online is a leap of faith.
It’s new to them.
It’s weird for their families.
It was never a dream (because they had never heard of it growing up).

Then it changes their life.

Meet Jeydi. Her job as an OFS is helping her family pursue their dream of having a poultry farm.

For some context, cockfighting is legal in the Philippines and is big in the rural areas. Like horse racing, they selectively breed roosters to be the best fighters, and that’s what Jeydi’s business is all about.

The talent you’ll find is surprising (I was surprised!).
