It’s time to start preparing for your Filipino VAs’ 13th month.

The 13th month is optional, but I highly recommend giving your VA this benefit once you can afford it.

It’s paid in December, the earlier in the month the better (for them).

The 13th month is NOT a Christmas bonus. It’s also not required (unless you’ve explicitly agreed to it before).

Many Filipinos depend on it, and it’s a nice way to keep them motivated.

The easiest way to compute for the 13th month is to add up how much you paid them this year and divide it by 12. That’s it.

Whether they worked the entire year or only six months, it’s the same math for the 13th month.

Even if they’re paid hourly, the math remains the same. Add up how much you paid them this year and divide it by 12.
