One of the answers I regularly get when I ask people why they haven’t hired an online Filipino Specialist (OFS) yet is:

I don’t think I have enough work to keep an OFS busy.

I know it seems like a problem, but usually the problem is you haven’t caught the vision yet.

When you find a great worker, and they’re done with their first task, here’s what usually happens next:

– You see what they’re capable of, so you’ll figure out the next task you can outsource to them.
– They’ll tell you what else they can do to gain your trust and have better job security.
– They’ll ask you for training on what else they can do, to show you that they’re eager to learn. They do this to gain your trust and have better job security.

This has happened to me and other business owners who found great workers. You’re expecting only to outsource one task. You end up delegating more work and getting more stuff off your plate.

– You start implementing things you’ve wanted to but didn’t have time for
– You improve your marketing
– You start generating more and better leads

It all snowballs after you outsource the first task.

So if you’re not hiring because you don’t have enough work to give your OFS, hire someone hourly. Then force yourself to give them more work after they’ve done the initial work.
